Flying Fox Facilities is a specialist Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) facilities company based in the UK and the Middle East. We provide aerial image gathering services to a wide range of clients. Our UAV pilots, engineers and camera operators are drawn from the Military, Civil and Defence satellite communications sectors and the broadcast industry. We hold a CAA permission for aerial work in the UK (PFAW).

Our aim is to provide safe, discreet and fully integrated aerial image gathering solutions using the latest in UAV, camera and satellite technology.

Flying Fox Facilities operates a number of custom built UAV’s that have been specifically designed to carry out various visual inspection and monitoring tasks. A live video downlink can be viewed from the ground station by the client to enable them to direct camera operations. Each one of our UAV’s are suited to a particular task and budget. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

We provide cost effective and safe aerial inspection solutions to the survey, construction and oil and gas industry. Images gathered by our UAVs can be used by planners and developers to enhance productivity, assist with planning applications, document projects and create a visual log of a development or project from start to finish. Aerial images can assist with monitoring the environmental impact of a project or development.

A Flying Fox UAV pre-site inspection accompanied by a written and visual report using still images and HD video can assist in making the use of rope access teams more strategic and cost effective in addition to reducing the risk of working at height.

Our Multi rotor UAV’s can fly in moderate winds and withstand light precipitation.

Dependant upon the UAV, task and location, flight times vary from 12- 50 minutes. Down time between battery changes is approximately five minutes. Dependant upon country, location, budget and task multiple UAVs can be airborne simultaneously to reduce time on location.
